We’re looking for an exceptional Chief of Staff to join Isembard at a pivotal moment. You’ll be the right (and left) hand to the Founder & CEO, working directly across everything from fundraising and hiring to product, finance and operations.

This is not a passive role. You’ll be embedded in the heartbeat of the business, helping scale our network of advanced manufacturing sites serving critical industries. We’re ten people today, with software engineers, machinists and manufacturing engineers from Palantir, Rolls Royce and Amazon. You’ll be based at our first factory and HQ in Park Royal, London but will likely travel. You’ll have full transparency, including access to the CEO’s inbox, calendar, board decks, financials, and investor pipelines. You’ll be expected to think and act like a CEO.

What you’ll do

• Help drive hiring across key functions including operations, engineering, legal, finance, fundraising, hiring and commercial
• Embed with product and factory teams to shape priorities and unblock execution
• Act as a sparring partner to the CEO, with full context and constant contact
• Help execute the full investor funnel in materials, diligence, and process
• Own critical external relationships, from government to global defence primes
• Assist with board meeting preparation, reporting, and investor communications
• Step into future senior leadership roles as the company scales
