Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. You will bridge the gap between design and production, working directly with customers to understand their requirements and translating them into manufacturable solutions. You will leverage your deep understanding of CAD systems and design for manufacturing (DFM) principles to optimise part designs for efficient production on our CNC machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with customers to understand their needs, embedding mechanical engineering principles to design precision components optimized for manufacturability.
• Support business development outreach efforts by researching prospects, coordinating communications, and preparing materials, while assisting with full sales lifecycle activities such as lead qualification, proposal development, and follow-up as needed.
• Use CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) to create customer-driven designs that align with manufacturing processes and material properties.
• Lead rapid prototyping efforts (e.g., 3D printing, laser cutting), managing project timelines to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer specifications.
